I never thought I’d be excited about a pair of compression gloves, but here I am…… sharing. I’ve always loved working with my hands, but they’re not as spry as they used to be. A couple of years ago I started looking for compression gloves that would help stave off the morning stiffness from mild arthritis and the afternoon numbness from what will eventually be full blown carpal tunnel syndrome. I’ve probably purchased and discarded close to a dozen pair of them because they didn’t fit, they didn’t work, or the seams in the gloves were so uncomfortable between my fingers that I just wasn’t willing to wear them. I thought that fit was going to be the biggest issue for me because I have tiny hands and wrists. I mean, who’s going to manufacture pediatric sized compression gloves? Surprisingly, it’s been the bulky seams digging into the webbing between my fingers that’s made me toss or donate so many different pairs of gloves. Then I kind of stumbled across these online. I have to admit to balking at the price initially, but they’ve turned out to be worth every single penny of the $89 I paid for them. They’re amazing. When I put them on, it’s like they have super powers and each glove becomes one with my hand. They cover each finger all the way to the last knuckle, so they keep my hands warm but don’t interfere with my typing, sewing, needlework, etc.; even my wrists are covered, warm and comfortable. For me, they’ve been a complete game changer.
